A creamy, no-cook purée of silken tofu and ripe mango, a gentle way to introduce soya. Tofu adds protein and calcium, especially if you choose a calcium-set brand.

- half a ripe mango Mango (peeled and diced)
Method
- Drain the tofu.
- Blend with the mango until completely smooth.
- Serve straight away.
Serving it to your baby
Soya is a common allergen, so introduce on its own, early in the day, and watch baby for a couple of hours. From 7 months blend less for a slightly textured spoonful.
For the rest of the family
Blend extra mango, tofu, oat drink and ice for a quick adult smoothie.
Storing and reheating
Best made fresh. Untouched leftovers can be kept covered in the fridge for up to 1 day.

It is tofu made using calcium sulphate, which makes it a good source of calcium. Check the label.
