Questions parents ask

Is tofu safe for babies?

Yes. Tofu is soft, protein rich and fine from 6 months. It contains soya, a common allergen, so introduce it on its own first.

Does nutritional yeast contain salt?

Check the label. Many brands are low in salt and fortified with B12, which is useful for vegan families.
