🥭 Mango and coconut yoghurt swirl
Thick full fat yoghurt swirled with smooth mango and a sprinkle of finely ground coconut. A bright, tropical snack with calcium and vitamin C.
Makes 2 baby portions
Ingredients
Method
- Blend or mash the mango until smooth.
- Spoon the yoghurt into a bowl.
- Swirl the mango through, leaving ripples of colour.
- Sprinkle with the finely ground coconut and serve.
Serving it to your baby
At 6 months serve on a preloaded spoon. From 9 months, cut ripe mango into soft strips for baby to hold and dip. You can also offer the stone with flesh still on it for gnawing under supervision once baby has a strong grip, removing it if it gets slippery.
For the rest of the family
Use Greek yoghurt for adult bowls and add toasted coconut flakes, lime zest and granola.
Storing and reheating
Best served fresh. Mango purée keeps in the fridge for 2 days or freezes in ice cube trays for up to 3 months; stir into yoghurt once defrosted.

Yes. Finely ground or desiccated coconut stirred into food is fine from 6 months. Avoid large flakes that could stick in the throat.
